چکیده
Objective: To compare the acute and chronic effects of low-volume high-intensity interval training (HIIT) to moderate-intensity continuous (MICT) on glycemic control, body composition glucose monitoring (CGM) in older women with type 2 diabetes (T2D). Methods: Thirty (68 ± 5 years) T2D were randomized two groups—HIIT (75 min/week) or MICT (150 min/week). Glucose homeostasis (A1c, glucose, insulin, HOMA-IR2) (iDXA) measured before after 12-week exercise intervention. During first last week (24-h 48-h exercise), following CGM-derived data measured: 24-h peak levels, variability time spent hypoglycemia as well severe mild hyperglycemia. Results: While lean mass increased (p = 0.035), total trunk fat decreased ? 0.007), without any difference between groups ? 0.81). Fasting levels 0.001) A1c 0.014) significantly improved only, a significant for fasting 0.02). Neither HIIT nor impacted at 1 0.25). However, hyperglycemia, 12 0.03). Conclusion: These results suggest that weeks is enough provide similar benefit improve effect when CGM.

Effects of High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) On CTRP1 and CTRP3 in Women with Type 2 Diabetes
Background: Family members of C1q/tumor necrosis factor (TNF) related proteins (CTRPs) have been shown to play an important role in metabolism and inflammation. However, there is limited information on the association of high-intensity intermittent exercise (HIIT) with CTRP1 and CTRP3 protein levels in patients with type 2 diabetes. Therefore, this study aims to evaluate the effects of 12 weeks...

AIM To determine the impact of low volume high-intensity interval training (LVHIIT) and continuous low to moderate-intensity exercise training (CLMIT) on cardiovascular disease (CVD) risk and health outcomes in cancer survivors. METHODS Sedentary cancer survivors (n = 75, aged 51 ± 12 year) within 24 months of diagnosis, were randomised into three groups for 12 wk of LVHIIT (n = 25), CLMIT (n...
متن کاملa comparison of moderate intensity continuous training and high intensity interval training on serum levels of resistin and insulin resistance in type-2 diabetic obese women
the present study intended to compare two types of aerobic training on serum levels of resistin and insulin resistance in type-2 diabetic women. 24 middle-aged type-2 diabetic women (mean age 41.8±3.45 yr, weight 76.8±3.61 kg, bmi 31.1±1.02 kg/m2, body fat percentage 41.6±1.38 and whr 0.94±0.05) were purposively selected and then randomly assigned to three groups: highly-intensity interval trai...
متن کاملEffect of continuous aerobic training versus high intensity interval training on Resistin and insulin resistance in type 2 diabetic rats
Background: the adipose tissue produces and releases peptides that contribute to various processes in body, including insulin resistance. The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of eight weeks of continuous aerobic training and high intensity interval training on Resistin and insulin levels and insulin resistance in type 2 diabetic male wistar rats. Methods: Twenty-four Wistar rats...
